The Joker's Jynx

This is called The Joker's Jynx. It's a launch coaster. It puts you in mind of the Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion, just not in a building.

Although this ride has very abrupt turn and twist, it is one of the smoothest coasters I have road in awhile.

Enjoy the video.... Oh, and if your reading this in your subscription email and the video does not appear. Go to the blog website. I have been having problems with the videos not being displayed in the emails.

Superman: Ride Of Steel

We were in line for the Superman, In the distance you can see 2 of the hills. This is not the big one though.

This is the car for Superman. As you can see, there are not sides. Not even much to the seat. This is what makes this ride really scary.

Here is the video I captured. You don't get to see to much until the last 15 seconds or so because it was my first time on this ride and I couldn't relax enough to take video. Although it's worth putting on just to see Faith's face going up th hill. She's a real daredevil, but she won't be getting on this ride again! It gave her anxiety so bad she could barely walk afterwords. I'm afraid soon our vacations will consist of a beach with sand and waves before too long. LOL!!

MORE TO COME.......

The 1st Ride of The Day....

We arrived at Six Flags America at about 10:10 am. When the park opened, I told Faith Batwing was the first ride I wanted to ride because I have always wanted to ride it. Don't ya know it was all the way in the back of the park. When we got back there there was 3 roller coasters all together, The Batwing, Superman, and Joker's Jynx. Come to find out, your not allowed to carry bags on the line of these rides, so you must purchase a locker for $1, for 2 hours. I wasn't happy about that, but we did. And on to the ride...

I don't know who that handsome man is!!!!

This is walking back to Batwing.

Here we are in line and if you look to the left side of the picture, see the guy in the blue and orange? If you didn't guess, Yep that's a maintenance man! The ride was broke down. It was only broke down for 5 minutes.

They had sent out a couple of empty trains to do test runs, and this is what it looks when your entering the station after your ride. I did how ever get smacked in the arm for taking a picture of this young lady posing and blowing me a kiss! OK, she's not really blowing me a kiss, just looks like it.

As you can see here, on the far side of the picture is what your seat looks like when you sit in it, and right in front of us is what your seat looks like for the ride and you can also see this in the previous picture. They lie you flat on your back and when you get to the top of the hill, it flips over so you feel like you are flying. It is one feeling you will get, but only on this coaster!

And last but not least, for your viewing pleasure I video taped this ride and others, but you can see what I seen. I was holding the camera on my chest and this is actually what you see when riding this ride.....

STAY TUNED FOR MORE............
